Dan Metcalfe

Dan Metcalfe is a tattoo artist and muralist working out of Barnstormer Studio in Ottawa, Ontario. Born and raised in Ottawa, he has always been drawing and painting. After earning a Bachelor of Design from NSCAD University (Nova Scotia College of Art & Design), he returned to Ottawa to pursue a career in design before changing course to tattooing.

Dan has been tattooing for four and a half years. He gravitates toward illustrative and realism styles and works in black and grey or colour, on pieces large or small. He’s expanding his flash and loves collaborating on custom work. Dan is typically booked 3–4 weeks out but welcomes walk-ins when he’s available.
